Took the metro bus - felt like a local! Free pick up service - saved my taxi money. Location was awesome, close to everything. Cons: Trying to find a plug was like a treasure hunt.

The location of this hostel in Adelaide is unbeatable, close to shops and public transport. I appreciated the free private car park provided upon arrival. Despite the crowded fridges and noisy common areas, the cleanliness and considerate guests made for a decent stay. The dorm rooms were disappointing, more suited for long-term residents. the common area was welcoming and the manager and guests were friendly and respectful. Great value for budget travelers.

I could time-travel between shopping in Chinatown and feeling like a local at Adelaide Central Market. Laundry facilities saved my life – thankfully more than just a bed and a roof!
Feeling like a hoarder in that cluttered dorm was just the highlight of my trip.

Great value for money in a convenient location
I enjoyed the affordable price and the handy location within walking distance of shops and public transport. the free private locked car park was a bonus for those arriving by car. the owner was helpful in providing information, making the stay pleasant despite the basic living conditions in the old and crowded hostel. It would be beneficial to improve cleanliness and update the facilities for a more comfortable experience.

Shingo's Backpackers is my go-to place in Adelaide. I keep coming back because it's simply the best. The staff even helped with my elderly parents. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, kitchen, AC, laundry, TV room, storage. Can't wait to come back this Easter!
